Voodoo- the panthiest legacy
Usually when we hear about voodoo, we associate with black magick and the Caribbeans with their pierced dolls and their zombies, for being the most popular manifestations of voodoo. Specialy now, after the world tour of the Rolling Stones with their "Voodoo Lounge" show, where Mick Jagger shows up characterized as Baron Cemitiérre. Also, in loco, the constant sorcery found at the gardens of the White House after the last attempt of a military crisis in Haiti.
The Caribbean voodoo originates from african spells of the Daome slaves, where they used such cult to poison the bodies and souls of their masters. "When night would come, and the sound of the drums started, the masters would shiver, someone would die...". Today it is syncretisized with the dogmatic traditions of the Church and with the american political interests, specially after Papa Doc. Today in Haiti, misery craves salvation in the terraces of the Ardhá voodoo, Petro voodoo, or the fearful red hats. In New Orleans, the heritege of the pain in captivity longs for confort also in jazz or blues, both darkened from a touch of the drums of the Loás- mesagers of the gods of voodoo.
Zombies aside, which are victims of tetradoxine, a compound made of: fish poison, frog poison, herbs, and secretions of cadavers in docomposition, followed by magic words and spells. Voodoo is one of the oldest practices in the history of mankind. There is knowledge of such cults to images or dools of rice paste, since 3000 aD in
China from Lao-Tsé. The magick of the dolls was prcticed by the Babilons and the Assirians. The Hebrews in captivity in Babilonia created the mith of the clay Golens. The egyptians made their dolls out of wood. The African slaves and merchants exported from Egypt to their tribes the techniques, and perfected them, making dolls from cloth, with personal belongings form the victim, making such spell more productive and with faster results, asotiating these with their pantheist divinities. /p>
In Greece, the magick of the dolls was very widespread. Platon, as a member of the Iniciatic Schoolof Misteries , dedicated himself to the research of the sortileges of the dolls. Aristoteles followed the general Alexander the
Great in his military campaigns with his suitcase of spells; where no city was invaded before its leaders were tortured as clay dolls with their characteristics first. There are various other references in works from Herodotos, on poems from Ovidio or in the bucolics of Virgilio. Later in the Middle Ages, we see it also in works from Shakespeare and Bacon.
The voodoo practiced in the Brotherhood of Ilú Sabbath is singular, it diverges from the brazilian concepts of spiritualism, the devilish modism and syncretism of the Antilhas with its perversities and malefaction. Ilú Sabbath has above all a compromise with the astral, with the tradition of 834 years of magick, with no dogmatic atatchments with any sects or religion, with no modism. But loyal to its own principles. The magick of the dolls, as in old times, has as an objective the transportation of evil from the body, the soul and the spirit of a person to a doll, or also na animal , who takes with it tha desease or bad luck, the unhappyness or any any type of spell potential for pety desires and maniac obcessions, being alwaya willing to help those who come to him with serioussness and respect. He helps to open professional and financial pathways, to find love, to take away vices, aid in health, in happyness, in stability and in knowledge, through voodoo, amongst many other ritualistic alternatives, the real voodoo, the voodoo that was left behind in the past, specially in Paris, until the year 1795. Today Mabo Bantu is the only one who stil practices the spells of the magick of the dolls of the old days, in a fosion of the mouraandaluz witchcraft.
